There has always been room for one more at the Gather & Vine table—and apparently, that includes the cats.
Our Faithful Companion Series began as a celebration of the dogs who quietly become part of the rhythm of our lives. They wait beneath the table during supper, follow us into the garden, claim the best chair on the porch, and somehow know exactly when we need a little company.
Over time, some of our customers graciously allowed us to feature their own beloved pups in Gather & Vine designs. And then we started hearing a very reasonable question:
“What about the cats?”
We heard you.
Meet Jerri
We’re delighted to introduce Jerri, the newest member of the Gather & Vine family—and our first feline addition to the Faithful Companion Series.
Jerri recently joined my own family along with her brother, Tom. And yes, their names are Tom & Jerri, which makes me smile every time I say it.
With those bright, curious eyes, her tiny pink nose, and classic black-and-white markings, Jerri already seems quite comfortable with the idea that she belongs in front of a camera. Something tells me she may have been destined for a future in graphic tees.
Soon, you’ll begin spotting Jerri and Tom in new Gather & Vine designs, bringing a little feline personality to a collection that has become especially meaningful to us.
Why We Feature Real Companions
There is one thing we want to preserve as the Faithful Companion Series grows: the animals featured in our designs are real pets with real stories.
We don’t want this collection to become simply a catalog of generic dogs and cats.
Our commitment is to feature companions we—or members of our Gather & Vine community—actually know and love.
That makes every design a little more personal.
Behind the artwork is a dog who waits by someone’s door. A cat who has claimed someone’s favorite chair. A companion who joins morning coffee, supervises work in the garden, curls up nearby during book club, or quietly settles beneath the table when friends arrive for dinner.
Because companionship is part of gathering, too.
And sometimes our most faithful companions have four paws.
Your Faithful Companion Could Be Next
As we begin welcoming cats into the collection, we’d also love to meet your faithful companions.
If you have a dog, cat, or another beloved companion you’d like us to consider featuring in a future Gather & Vine release, send us a note with your pet’s name and a few of your favorite photos.
Tell us a little about them, too.
Are they the porch companion? The garden supervisor? The lake dog? The cat who believes every beautifully set table was arranged specifically for them?
Those little details are often where the best design ideas begin.
We can’t promise that every submission will become a design, but we would love the opportunity to get to know the animals who are part of your family’s story.
For now, you’ll be seeing much more of Jerri—and soon, her brother Tom.
